2012-18 Executive Board, Hemispheric Institute for Performance and Politics in the Americas (2012+) [10], a pan-Hemispheric research group working out of NYU, responsible for a large digital archive, collaborative cross-cultural research projects, and an annual festival and conference, the Encuentro. Member of the Executive representing the University of Toronto, an Institutional Member, and as a partner in the ‘Canadian Consortium for Performance and Politics in the Americas, a partnered research project.
2012-18 Executive Board, Curatorial Committee, Canadian Consortium for Performance and Politics in the Americas (2012+) [60+]. Responsible for contact with Canadian Theatre Companies embodying cultural diversity, negotiating for digital archiving of performance records; working with graduate students and colleagues from across Canada in establishing a policy and collections list. Chair of Curatorial Committee (2015+).
2016-17 Co-Treasurer, Past President, Canadian Association for Theatre Research/ Association canadienne de la recherche théâtrale, a member of the Canadian Federation of the Humanities and Social Sciences.
2012-16 President, Canadian Association for Theatre Research/ Association canadienne de la recherche théâtrale, a member of the Canadian Federation of the Humanities and Social Sciences [two two-year terms, ended June 2016]. Included chairing Executive Board of sixteen, elected from across Canada; oversight of a range of activities, including finances, elections, communications, fundraising, lobbying on behalf of the discipline, conference organization, etc.

1993-96 Environment Canada’s Green Plan/Tri-Council Eco-Research Secretariat; 3 years; $90,000; Funding through the interdisciplinary McMaster Eco-Research Program for Hamilton Harbour to found and direct the Environmental Theatre Workshop, an advocacy theatre group working with scientists, social scientists, students, and the general public to raise awareness about environmental issues.
